Letter from the President:

In 2004, I began my first job in medical billing. After a few short years, I was hired at a new clinic as the office manager. I worked in this capacity for 5 years while handling and overseeing medical billing, patient accounts, staffing, patient care, and many other tasks. During this time, I played an intricate role in the growth of this clinic by over 600% in volume and collections.

I was then offered the position at a new clinic as an office manager. During my 3 years at this clinic, I was responsible for many of the same tasks and assisted its growth by over 500% in volume and collections. This was also being accomplished while still handling all medical billing from my previous employer.

In December 2015, I gave birth to our third baby girl in a little under 3.5 years. After much prayer and consideration, I chose to step down as office manager and began to handle medical billing for each clinic from home.

Throughout this journey, I have gained a passion and insight into helping medical offices grow and thrive. I learned that insurance, billing, collections, and all the paperwork that comes with it seems to slow office production down. I wanted to create a streamlined process that would allow me to handle what I am good at, all while alleviating the stress and paperwork from the clinic. This would allow the doctor and staff to focus on their passion which is patient care. It would further enable me to focus where I excel, maximizing the clinic’s collections. Therefore, maximizing maximum growth potential for the clinic.

I know that every clinic is different, so I wanted to create a way to cater to each different need. This is why at Mega we do not have any ‘cookie cutter’ contracts. I wanted to create a company that would learn the current workings of a clinic and do our best to integrate into their current systems and software. We offer a variety of services, but it is at the discretion of each clinic to choose what services they want Mega to handle. I did not want to have long term contracts because I want to keep my doctors business based on our performance, not a forced contract. I did not want to have monthly minimums because I think that if the clinic is not collecting, neither should my company.

Over the past 3.5 years I have had the privilege to work with over 20 different clinics and physicians who have trusted me with their medical billing needs. I am very excited to build new relationships with other physicians and clinic staff to assist in any capacity possible.
